SIDHARTHAN

Sidharthan is a distinguished visual artist whose journey spans over four decades of artistic excellence. His work encompasses traditional and contemporary styles, with a particular focus on capturing the essence of Kerala's cultural heritage. As a mentor, he has guided numerous artists, including Sandhyambika, helping them discover their unique artistic voices.

As the former Head of Department at the Faculty of Visual Arts, Government RLV College of Fine Arts, Thripunithura, Sidharthan has not only created remarkable artworks but has also nurtured countless aspiring artists through his teaching and mentorship. His paintings are characterized by their emotional depth, technical precision, and ability to tell stories that resonate across generations.

His artistic journey has been marked by continuous evolution and recognition, culminating in the prestigious Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant from New York in 2020. His works are held in private collections across India, America, Germany, France, and Finland, reflecting the universal appeal of his artistic vision.
